Since 1985, the Boothbay Region Food Pantry has addressed food insecurity in the communities of Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Edgecomb and Southport. Located in the Fellowship Hall of the Boothbay Harbor Congregational Church and staffed entirely by volunteers, we are open every Friday from 11am to 1pm. With families selecting items according to their preferences, our substantial food distributions include a variety of staples and fresh and frozen foods from Good Shepherd Food Bank, Hannaford Supermarket, The Rotary Club of Boothbay Harbor, Veggies to Table, and Twin Villages Farm Food Bank. We are able to supplement these items from the generous donations and contributions of individuals and organizations in our community.
